My number one passion lately is problem statements - I wish everyone was writing them. I can guarantee it'll result in better requirements. The other extension to requirements, that will result in better solutions, are personas. I wish everyone had personas too. I have found a VERY interesting post, More on the Power of Persona, from Marketing Profs. Very interesting article on what a persona is and how other people are using them. If Best Buy, Chrysler and Starbucks are using personas, how can you not be?
