Great tip here from Roger... again! Who does not love field trips? Remember, in elementary school going to the farm, stepping in manure, petting the cows and horses. Yeah!! Different stream of thought here though, take your developers to visit your customers. They will appreciate seeing their work in action, they'll get a better perception of its use and a better understanding of the observed problems. I like it!
Question though, who has budget for this?
I have seen and heard first hand the walls that are between Product Management and Development.
I think that this is a great idea! This is a much better approach then viewing data in a MRD, something you can see, touch and experience can add huge amount of weight to your MRD when you deliver it to development.
