Part of the product management process is marketing. And, as Stewart pointed out yesterday, Earth Day earlier this week had a lot of people thinking about going green.
When you are developing a product, are you thinking about its effects on the environment? Stewart mentioned this:
I think every MRD/PRD should address what your next release is doing about the environment.
This is a very important point. But you should also consider how you are marketing your product. Are you pointing out its "green-ness"? If you are taking pains to be environmentally friendly, you need to share that information. It will make your product more attractive to people who express a desire to be as green as possible.
