The Silicon Valley Product Management Association (SVPMA) is having its next session Wednesday, June 4th. Aaron Forth, VP Product at Mint.com, will be discussing marrying analytics and design for a compelling user experience.
How many interesting products have we used that seem so obviously poor in design and user experience? With the power of technology and the complex nature of our solutions, keeping focused on delivering in a compelling way is critical.

Session Overview:
Great products not only address critical needs but do so with grace and style. There are no exceptions for consumer internet applications as users expect the performance of a desktop application with the accessibility and experience that are only enabled in web applications. Advances in front-end web technologies, data aggregation, statistical analysis and web analytics are creating the necessary infrastructure to deliver a compelling user experience. Leveraging these technologies does not guarantee success, but when used in conjunction with focus on design, coupled with unyielding attention to the user's experience, the results can shine.
In this session we discuss and look at practical examples on how Mint.com is marrying design and analytics to deliver a compelling user experience.
