About the webinar: When they hear the word "leader," most people picture someone who has some degree of management or supervisory responsibility for a group of people; they typically direct the individuals' day-to-day work and have some control over the compensation individuals receive.

In most organizations product managers do not have direct reports; however, they are responsible for assuring the timely release of their company's products. They are under pressure to inspire others to greatness without having direct authority to hold others accountable. As a result, product managers must be persuasive, flexible, persistent and optimistic. They need to develop skills to lead people in such a way that makes them want to do great work out of respect for their leader.

Product managers have a great opportunity to become the de facto leaders in their organization. In this webinar Michael will provide practical advice to help in this quest. He will focus on:
• Why product managers are responsible to lead their teams
• Principles that--if practiced--will help product managers become the de facto leaders in their organizations
• Ways that product managers can drive unity in purpose and action.
He will provide practical ideas and case studies that will help you to lead on purpose.
